Last time we checked, every one of your customers has a birthday and at least one special annual recurring date like an anniversary. Most would gladly trade their phone number and/or email address in exchange for some sort of value-add on their special day(s).
And as we all know, most of us don’t like to celebrate alone. So, while you’re giving away one incentive, you’ll likely get several full price customers along with it!
This sequence is started when the customer opts into your list. This is a great time to welcome them to the “Club” and to provide them a number of incentives to return soon thereafter.
Your goal is to get the customer back into your place of business a few times over the coming month(s). Once they’ve formed a new habit of visiting your establishment, the likelihood of them becoming a “regular” is greatly enhanced.
This sequence kicks off preceding a specified date, in this case, a birth date. This is a great way to remind the customer of the upcoming opportunity to receive an incentive. It’s also a great time to encourage them to bring a group of friends to help them celebrate.
Get them to have their friends to join your list and you can see how your list can grow exponentially! A great and easy way to encourage existing customers back in and to bring in new customers.
